Lewis Gilboy signed his first professional contract with Accrington Stanley last summer before being released this year. The 20-year-old Liverpudlian has also got non-league playing experience, having played 10 games for City of Liverpool last season before the season came to an abrupt end.
Manager Andy Welsh’s thoughts on Lewis: “Lewis is a player that is a really exciting one for me. His energy on the ball and work rate for a wide man caught our eye on day one and he is someone who is another great one for us to develop and hopefully he can deliver plenty of goals and assists.”
Here’s what Lewis had to say after signing for the club: “Happy to be a part of the team and look forward to my future with Bury AFC. A new beginning and I’m excited for what’s to come.”
