The North West Counties League has announced that the new season will start on 31st July. We can’t guarantee that all Covid restrictions will be lifted by then, however, there is a great deal of confidence that we will be able to offer tickets up to full capacity and accommodate everyone who wants to watch for the very first time.
We don’t yet know how many teams will be in our division but have modelled our budget based on an assumed 19 home league games, and set the price of the season ticket at £125 for adults, £50 for under 16s, and free for under 5s, based on that number of games. We will increase the season ticket on a pro-rata basis should the number of teams increase, but we believe that this offers good value for money. We expect a fairly full cup programme as well, with tickets for these games arranged to suit.
Having a season ticket also includes attendance at all Bury AFC Women home games at no additional cost.
The North West Counties League rules only allow us to discount season ticket prices to a maximum of 15% against single ticket prices. This limits our ability to make the season ticket prices as attractive as possible, but we hope as many supporters as possible will purchase our first ever season ticket which helps us plan for the season ahead. Individual tickets will be priced at £7 for adults and £3 for children.
Regardless of Covid restrictions, we do expect there will be circumstances where numbers will be restricted. Some away grounds, for example, have a very limited capacity. In these circumstances we will continue to give members priority, with season ticket holding members likely to be given highest overall priority.
We are considering all ticket type options, which may include paper season tickets and online purchased digital tickets, cash or contactless card payments for single tickets. We are also exploring what additional matchday hospitality can be offered either as part of a ‘premium’ season ticket package or stand alone.
At this stage we do not know if we will be allowed to live stream games which kick-off at 3pm on a Saturday. The UEFA rule prohibiting streaming at this time was suspended during the pandemic and we do not yet know when it will be back in force. However, we will continue to stream games where permitted, including friendlies, cup games and evening kick offs.
To allow us to assess likely demand based on the prices quoted, we are asking you to indicate whether you are likely to purchase a season ticket or not by completing the information below, along with some preferences. There is no commitment to purchase as we will wait until the number of teams in the league is confirmed before finalising the price.
