As many of you will know already, we’re expecting to recommence the season on 5th December with a home fixture against Daisy Hill, replacing our original away game at AFC Blackpool. November’s missed fixtures will be added in to the end of the season which was originally scheduled to finish on 22nd May but will now extend into June. We will be updating the website with the revised fixture list shortly, but you can view the proposed fixtures from the North West Counties League Website here. We expect further changes throughout the season.
Whilst the government and DCMS has made a number of announcements about fan attendance based on which Covid tier the club plays in, the detail is yet to be released. We believe we will resume games with a 300 crowd limit for now.
Once we have more information we will let you know and also put more tickets on sale along the lines previously advised.
Tickets for the Daisy Hill home game sold out in September so the first new batch of home tickets will start with Garstang on 19th December.
We will be working on the process for away tickets at the same time. This requires us to liaise with the other club and can vary depending on their own processes and requirements.
We have provisionally agreed with the North West Counties League that we will be permitted to stream games for the remainder of the season, whilst the UEFA restrictions which prohibit streaming on Saturday afternoons remains suspended. They will seek to ratify this with their management committee soon. A fully wired connection is due to be installed at the Nueven Stadium ahead of 5th December. We also have a new 5G mobile connection for away games. We will begin discussions with other clubs on streaming away games, as this requires their consent and we intend to share the revenue with them after costs. Whether we continue on a pay-per-view basis, monthly subscription or combination of both is now under consideration.
We have also agreed with our merchandise partner, The Terrace Store, to donate the first £100 we receive from Christmas orders to their fundraising efforts for CALM, the mental health charity. New merchandise is added all the time, so take a look for Christmas orders now.
